Black Sheep Food Initiative is more than just a pop-up shop

Small Town, Small Farm, Big Heart

Working on under 2 acres in central Illinois growing produce for the Heartland. Designing floral arrangements for the community. And embracing sustainable farming. The Dream started on my parents farm in the garden and selling at the local farmers market. When the search started for some land of my own I found the perfect property out on the edge of Saybrook Illinois.

My Mission:

The Mission for this business is to bring sustainable produce to people who can’t afford it or that can’t get it do to lack of grocery stores or means of travel. How Black Sheep helps deliver this Mission: Donating Extra produce to Local Food Pantries, Education on Sustainable Farming, Communicating to other Produce Farmers to donate or Glean extra Produce to Food Pantries. Black Sheep also has two Large Dream Goals: ONE, Opening its First Certified Kitchen and Two, Opening it First Mobile Grocery Store.

2026-2027 Fundraiser One Step Closer: A New Year and a New Location Currently securing a new location in Urbana, IL that will have a Certified Kitchen! This is the moment I have been working towards for 10years. This Fundraiser Goal is for $20,000 to purchase Kitchen Equipment for the location. This location and Kitchen will serve a the Black Sheep Mission and supply Families and Communities with Healthy and Tasty Food for all income types.
